All drivers / personnel collecting items must be pre-approved through U.S. Mint security before permission is granted to drive on to or enter the facility. Pre-clearance before collection is essential.
You will be contacted by U.S. Mint personnel at San Francisco (Ms. Sandy Lee. Sandy.Lee@USmint.treas.gov / (415) 575-7785, included in this email), and provided with the necessary documentation which should be completed and returned to her as soon as possible so that there is no delay in issuance of permission. You will be required to provide valid Government Issued ID. The only IDs that are acceptable are a valid passport, valid military ID or State issued REAL ID compliant driving license.
Before the items can be delivered, you or your designated agent will be required to produce a valid Government Issued ID. The only IDs that are acceptable are a valid passport, valid military ID or State issued REAL ID compliant driving license. Your items will NOT be handed over until the ID has been presented.
We will take a photograph of the ID and the vehicle that the items are being loaded in to.
If the purchase receipt, invoice or transfer order hasnt been signed you or your designated agent will need to sign before any item(s) will be released from our custody.
You are responsible for packing and removing. All shipping, materials, and costs. You must provide sufficient labor to load all items. We do NOT provide labor, nor assist in loading.
Be aware that material handling equipment may NOT be available for the movement of items, so you should plan on bringing any required equipment with you.
